An extensive tutorial on Blueprint has been published on the IBM developerWorks site. The author, C. Enrique Ortiz, explains how to develop a weather Widget for Yahoo! Go 3.0 using the Blueprint XML markup and infrastructure, PHP for server integration, and Yahoo! Web services. The tutorial shows how to write the same Widget in two ways: first by utilizing the blueprint.php library included in the Blueprint SDK, and then with PHP templates.

The article is targeted for entry-level developers interested in creating mobile services with the Yahoo! Blueprint platform. General knowledge about Web development, mobile applications, XML, and PHP is desirable, but not essential.
